About

Printing Solutions from The Minster Press,

covering Dorset and Beyond!

From humble beginnings

Trading from the Old Church House in Mill Lane (just off the Square), a Grade II listed building, the Minster Press is one of the oldest family run businesses in Wimborne Minster. It celebrated its 70th birthday in 2006.

As the name implies the company is named after the famous Wimborne Minster located in the centre of the town, near to the River Stour, which runs through the County of Dorset.

Started in the Sp
ring of 1936 by the late H. L. Slocock in his father's garage, the business has seen amazing developments in technology in the last 70 years - from wooden printing blocks and lead type, to the latest computer-to-plate digital technology and the full colour digital printers of exceptional quality used today.
